Quarterly Benchmarks
Benchmarks will be given at the end of each semester grading period. These assessments will address the standards covered during that grading period plus any standards previously covered in school. The button at the bottom of this page can also be used as a review for benchmarks.

ELAGSE2RL6-I can tell different ideas (point of view) characters of a story have.
ELAGSE2L1c- I can identify pronouns and reflexive pronouns.
Ex. She is a good friend to me. And Ex. I cleaned the room by myself.
ELAGSE2L1c,f-I can explain contractions and use apostrophes to form them.
Ex. We can’t find the other book.
ELAGSE2L1a- I can create possessive nouns using an apostrophe.
.Ex. The girl’s sister is really nice.
ELGSE2W1,5-I can form an opinion and support it with text evidence. I can write an opinion piece that states an opinion , supplies at least two supporting reasons for the opinion, use linking words. and has a concluding statement.
